With the release of Batman: Arkham City last week, Warner Bros. is very happy to see the very first of sales figures. More than 4.6 million copies were shipped worldwide its debut week, and there’s only more to come as the weeks go on.
Currently available for Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, Rocksteady Studios’ latest offering will also become available for the PC quite soon. According to the L.A. Times, the original Batman: Arkham Asylum saw a total of 4.3 million sales. Arkham City is quickly dwarfing its predecessor’s numbers.
