Not a huge chunk of news here, but we do have a few new screens for the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII-2 from Square Enix. In the new screens, we get a few new shots of Hope from Final Fantasy XIII, along with what appears to be a slot machine of some kind. Not being a huge Final Fantasy history buff, I am not sure if this is the first time gambling has been involved with the franchise, but I am sure it has at some point along 14+ installments in the series.
Anyway, check out the three new screens and one Hope character render below. Final Fantasy XIII-2 is set to release on January 31st, 2012 for Xbox 360 and PS3 from Square Enix.
actually FF 9 had A LOT of gambling in it. :P Mostly dealing in cards but the same concept.
