Not owning a 3DS, I have missed out on some of the titles that have come out for the platform, but Heroes of Ruin did catch my fancy. While one title is not enough to make me run out and spend $170 for a portable console, it does have a nice mix of hack and slash gameplay combined with loot drops. Mix in ad-hoc and WiFi multiplayer support for up to four people and this could be a fun, portable version of a Diablo-like experience.
To show off the gameplay, one of the designers from Heroes of Ruin has sat down to present a walkthrough of one quest to give players a feel for what Heroes of Ruin has to offer them in 2012. Check out the full trailer below.
