Siliconera reports that Polish developers Techland registered “Dead World” as a US trademark. Of course, Techland did not comment on this, but a Dead Island sequel is pretty much a no-brainer (ha!) after Dead Island went double platinum.
A larger, more open world version of Dead Island could certainly be cool. I don’t think I’ll be able to get enough of zombie apocalypse RPG’s.
