Got the craving for some old-school, turn-based, strategy gaming? Well Team17 have recently released not one, not two, but three classic Worms titles to Steam, from the much loved pink critter blasting series. These titles include the original Worms (released 1995), Worms: Pinball (released 1998), and Worms: Blast (released 2002). For those of you who may not of even heard of Worms (and have subsequently been living under a rock for last 15 or so years), here is a brief overview of each game:
Worms – This is where it all started. The first ever game to introduce the little wriggly soldiers, along with a variety of wacky weapons. Up to 4 teams can battle it out superiority on a number of weirdly shaped landscapes. Click here to check it out on Steam.
Worms: Pinball – A slightly off-piste title for the franchise, the Worms try their hand at a good old game of Pinball. Worms: Pinball offers up a number of tables, each designed especially for the wacky world of Worms. Click here to check it out on Steam.
Worms: Blast – Worms: Blast sees you launch your worm marine into hostile waters and then blast your way to survival through intense puzzle action. With compelling puzzle-style gameplay, 60 fun-sized missions, a fiendishly challenging puzzle mode, a tournament mode and some unlockable hidden features and characters.
