Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has broken sales records as widely predicted – the game sold 6.4 million units worldwide in its first 24 hours and sits at the top of the UK gaming chart this week. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim soared into second place – Bethesda will no doubt be pleased that the game managed to secure their biggest ever launch.

Battlefield 3 has been forced to give ground and move back to third place, likewise FIFA 12 has also dropped a position and now rests in fourth. Just Dance 5 remains frozen in fifth.

The third and final new entry to make the Top 20 All Format Chart is Moshi Monsters: Moshling Zoo which entered at number seven. Elsewhere Wii Party managed to make it to number ten, up all the way from number thirty-eight.
