Remember when we were all excited about Dead Island getting some co-op battle arena DLC shortly after launch? Well, you might have started to give up on that promise from Deep Silver, especially after it all fell by the wayside as they were tasked with a ton of bug squashing after Dead Island hit store shelves.
Well, Deep Silver and Techland have not forgotten about the Bloodbath DLC, as it is nearing the finish line for release on all three platforms. The new DLC will feature four Battle Arena maps where you and a few friends will fight waves of unrelenting zombies. Making the mode even better is the fact that items, XP and cash will fully transfer back into your main game.
Check out some new screens for the Bloodbath DLC below. You will be happy to know that the DLC is coming on November 22nd, 2011, and is free to those that ordered the special edition on consoles and PC, or you can add it for 800 MS Points or $9.99 depending on platform.
