First announced in August, Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena also revealed that it would have fan favorite guest Aegis from Persona 3.
Now the shadow-hunting android girl will get some familiar teammates in the form of Akihiko Sanada, Gekkoukan High’s boxing champ, and Mitsuru Kirijo, the student council president and unofficial leader of SEES. In a report from Japanese video game magazine Famitsu, both characters have been confirmed in the by Arc System Works.
How these characters will fit into the vastly different story and world of Persona 4 remains to be seen, but The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena makes its debut in arcades in Spring 2012. A console version has been announced to release in summer 2012. No confirmation for an international release has been heard yet.
