While everyone was busy fighting and debating over who really should have won Game of the Year, Konami made a big announcement last night. The long-awaited Metal Gear Solid: Rising has now been renamed Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. It was also revealed that Platinum Games, developer of Bayonetta and Vanquish, will be helming the project. Kojima Productions still has a hand in the project, but will not be on the development team.
During last night’s festivities, the newest trailer for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was shown. It’s a bloody good time in this trailer, as we watch Cyborg Raiden hack and slash through anything and everything that’s standing upright. Did we mention it was bloody? Check out the action:
