It is tough to release a new sports title in your franchise when that same sport is on strike. This was the conendrum that NBA 2K12 was presented with when it released on October 5th, earlier this year. Now almost two and a half months later, the NBA season is finally coming to fruition, even if one of the greatest trades in NBA history did not happen because of the stooge at the top of the NBA, David Stern.
Yes, basketball is back and the trades and deals are happening fast and furious to lead up to a Christmas day start of the season. This means that NBA 2K12 owners will finally see updates to their rather stale rosters, which were almost nine months old.
