Some people may have skipped on Final Fantasy XIII because of the less than kind word of mouth on the product, which I can understand. It was not the Final Fantasy title that people were looking for if they were long time fans of the series. However, a lot has been done to fix some of those complaints with Final Fantasy XIII-2, but you might be a bit confused as to what happened if you are stepping into the franchise with this sequel.
Square Enix looks to help out with that confusion as they have released a new trailer that explains some of the events that took place in the prior entry in the series as well as showing off a lot of the new mechanics and gameplay features that should appease those that did not like the way Final Fantasy XIII worked.
