Alan Wake FInally to Make Its Way to PC in 2012

14 Dec, 2011

I remember when Alan Wake was first announced as a game concept, it came to gamers not in Game Informer or even EGM but in the pages of Computer Gaming World magazine. It was announced as a PC exclusive from the team that brought us Max Payne 1 and 2. Somewhere along the way, Microsoft got involved with the publishing of the title and it became an Xbox 360 exclusive title and PC fans were sad at the lost of another quality gaming title on their platform.

Remedy is finally rectifying this issue, as Alan Wake will be coming to the PC in 2012 and as a bonus, will include both DLC packs, The Writer and The Signal. It will also be optimized for the PC, including higher resolutions, textures and of course, mouse and keyboard controls.

  1. I remember when this was a DX10 PC exclusive, one of the reasons I upgraded all those years ago, not sure if I’m bothered anymore.
