Heroes and Heralds for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 out now!

Today marks the launch of the Heroes and Heralds mode for recent fighting installment, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. This mode will launched for free, so there’s really no reason why fans shouldn’t download it. But what is it all about? Well let me tell you.

Heroes and Heralds launches players into a completely separate mode in which players will chose between either the Heroes or the Heralds, and series of battles will show which faction is due to rule the world. Cards, depicting a number of recognizable faces, will be acquired through the battles, each adding a fancy new element to the fights. These will range from simple powerups (like speed boost), to super combo enhancers (for example passing through projectiles). These cards will then be available for the player to use in online or offline Heroes and Heralds, or training mode.

And you thought Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom couldn’t get more Ultimate! Not bad for a free download eh?
