Infinity Ward has just announced that the first piece of Modern Warfare 3 DLC will be released on January 24, 2012. Well, that’s only if you’re a Call of Duty Elite subscriber, and you play on the Xbox 360.
According to Robert Bowling, creative strategist for Infinity Ward, the “full season of content for Modern Warfare 3 kicks off for Elite subscribers 24th January on Xbox Live.”
Bowling has also said that the DLC available in January will include Spec Ops content and “a variety of things that players have never seen before.” Infinity Ward will also be working alongside two other developers to bring DLC content: Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software.
If you’re a paying member for the premium Call of Duty Elite subscription, you’ll be receiving 20 pieces of DLC over nine months. Infinity Ward has said that the DLC will be released no more than one month apart from another, so get ready for an onslaught after January.
Activision will be announcing more information regarding DLC next month as well.
