If you are a Rush fan, you know that 2112 is one of their pinnacle albums, both for its stye and for its out there approach to telling a story. The folks at Activision were able to get this full album in Guitar Hero 6 a few years back, but some were not exactly thrilled with the way it was handled, as there were breaks between each of the sections.
Harmonix is now giving players a chance to take a tour on the 2112 bandwagon as it is coming to the Rock Band 3 download store just in time for your New Year’s Eve parties here in the states. The album will be broken up into three track segments with the whole thing running $5.49, 440 MS Points or 550 Wii Points depending on your platform of choice.
The only downside is that the Wii version is delayed until Janaury 2nd, 2012, and the tracks will not be available in Europe on the PS3 until January 18th, 2012. No reason why the delays on these platforms, but I figured I would point it out for Rush fans that were already planning to bring in the New Year with 2112, but would be disappointed not to find it available.
