We won’t have to wait in nail-biting anticipation for big announcements at E3 or GDC. No, says Nintendo of America’s big boss Reggie Fils-Aime, we can expect to hear from Nintendo a lot this year.
“Essentially, we will be sharing information throughout the entire year,” said Fils-Aime in an interview with Spike TV during CES. “I won’t say you’re going to have to wait until E3, but certainly we’re not breaking any news here; no launch date, no launch price, no game-line up. We will be sharing a whole lot of information all through the year on how we will be driving Wii U into households this year.”
Fils-Aime also suggested that the line-up during Wii U’s launch will be something that will “drive the install base” for the new console. The Wii U is set to be released sometime between June and the end of this year.
