Rockstar Games have today announced that Max Payne 3 has been delayed. Sources say that this is to add time to “get the highest quality” from the game.
Whilst publisher Take Two is expected to post a loss in their fiscal year 2012, they stand firm by their assertion that their “lineup of upcoming releases for fiscal 2013 is even stronger”. Expected during this time aree Spec Ops: The Line, Borderlands 2, Bioshock Infinite and the new XCOM games; they also teased us by mentioning “titles yet to be announced for release that year.”
In the subsequent press release, Rockstar confirmed MP3′s release as 15th May on 360 and PS3 in the US, with the PC version following shortly thereafter on the 29th. The rest of the world can expect the game on 18th May and 1st June respectively.
