Microsoft invite you to their House Party

24 Jan, 2012

Right, before you get too excited, the Xbox Live community has not been invited to Bill Gates’s house for tea and cake; I know, cheapskate right? But let’s get down to business now. There is going to be a House Party localised within in every one of your Xbox 360s.

Much like the previous House Parties on the Xbox Live Arcade, this will see four games released between 15th February and 7th March. And for those of you willing to buy all the games, your loyalty will be rewarded.

The games you’ll be seeing are as follows: Warp (800 Microsoft Points) (which lets you control a cute little alien trying to escape a scientific testing facility by, you guessed it, warping); Alan Wake’s American Nightmare (1200 MSP) (mixes things up for the troubled writer again fighting Mr Scratch and his hordes of terrifying enemies); and NEXUIZ (800 MSP) (has the hardcore audience covered with an arena-based first person shooter built on Crytek’s CryEngine 3). Finally the long awaited I Am Alive (1200 MSP) will be rounding off this quartet (following a massive natural disaster you are tasked with having to face off against a hazardous environment, along with the rather unfriendly remaining population, in order to find your missing wife and daughter).

These games will be available on XBLA on 15th, 22nd, 29th February and 7th March respectively. As aformentioned, if you buy all four of these games before the party ends on 13th March, Microsoft will credit you back with 800 MSP.

This will be one celebration you don’t want to miss!
