Call of Duty Elite Premium Members Getting the First Salvo of MW3 Content Today

Premium Members enrolled in the Call of Duty Elite program better batton down the hatches, as they are about to get a slew of premium content for their drug of choice, Modern Warfare 3. Starting today, a stream of content will be released over the next nine months for members that have signed on for the premium Call of Duty Elite membership. The content starts off with two new multiplayer maps for Modern Warfare 3.

The first pack is call Drop 1: Liberation, which is set in a militarized version of Central Park in New York City, a landscape that will be perfect for those that like to play as a sniper or LMG specialist. The second pack, called Drop 2: Piazza, is set in an Italian seaside village that has gone rogue. As with most small European towns, you will have to work your way through a labrynth of narrow streets and side passages that could bring death at every turn.

The two maps will be celebrated with a month long contest where players will be prompted to submit their best screenshots from their game sessions, with real world prizes on tap for the screens that are selected by the development team.
