Digital Extremes and 2K Games are reaching the end of development on The Darkness II, and with the February 7th, 2012 release date right around the corner, the time is right for a launch trailer. And might I say, what a launch trailer they have delivered to fans. While the trailer is a cinematic and not an in-engine trailer, the action and story that is shown in the trailer are pretty awesome. And they make a moment from the first game look even more devious in this new trailer. I should also mention that Jackie Estacado looks like an extreme badass as he wields the Darkness power and his dual weapons throughout.
The Darkness II is set to arrive on Xbox 360, PS3 and for the first time on PC from Digital Extremes and 2K Games. Check out the full trailer below.
