Those of you desperate to get the next Playstation may have to squeeze some more life yet out of the PS3.
Earlier in January it was reported that we would see both a new Xbox and Playstation at E3 in June. This news was apparently from an “ultra high source” according to MCV editor, Ben Parfitt. It seems now Sony are going the other way saying that they “will probably be last to announce something” if we’re to believe the translated words of Philippe Cardon, head of Sony France, in regards to the next console race.
Sony was the last of the big three to release a console in this current generation, could this mean they’re going to let Microsoft and Nintendo pull ahead again? Regardless, chances are Sony will have a few tricks left up their sleeves before the light fades out on the PS3.
