Mass Effect armour console mods announced

For the collectors out there this is surely one you cannot miss out on. Calibur 11 – the company behind several console cases – are bringing out an N7 Armour console mod to coincide with the release of Mass Effect 3.

These console covers – or Vaults as they are called – will be available for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 slim models. Both are modelled after the armour worn by Shepard in the game, branded with the N7 logo – which even lights up just for good measure. The cases are designed to allow better airflow and cooling for your console by lifting it off the ground. They also come with a quite snazzy controller holder on the back for when you’re not playing. On top of all of this you’ll get some exclusive multiplayer items to download for Mass Effect 3.

You can pre-order your vault right now on the Calibur 11 site – setting you back about £70 each – and are due for release on 8th March. You’ll need to act fast on these as it appears only 25000 will be made! Time to save the universe on a console with a bit of style.
