Square Enix has taken the wraps off of their new, gritty police thriller, Sleeping Dogs. Sleeping Dogs looks to take players into an underworld of the triads in the city of Hong Kong. From the live action trailer we have below, you get to see the kind of high powered, kung fu infused action that we should see in this new title.
Someone could correct me here, but I believe that this was the title formerly called True Crime: Hong Kong several years ago from United Front before the project was summarily cancelled by Activision. Square Enix came in several months after to pick up the pieces of the game and meld them into a new brand IP, Sleeping Dogs.
While the video is live action, with no hint of in game action, we do get several screenshots of in-game action, which we have also included after the trailer.
Sleeping Dogs is coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 from Square Enix and United Front Games in the Fall of 2012.
