I felt a little arcade challenged today when it came to the new announcement from Taito and Square Enix for DARIUSBURST Second Prologue for iOS devices. It appears that the game is the third in a line of old arcade classics in the DARIUS brand, but I have to admit that I have never heard of it.
But if you are a fan of over the top, bullethell sidescrollers, DARIUSBURST should scratch that itch very nicely, with tons of enemies to kill, huge bosses to figure out patterns for and of course, a huge arsenal of equipment to upgrade your ship with to dispatch these enemies.
While DARIUSBURST does have a steep price for entry at $10.99, it is a beautiful looking game that could be worth it for those looking for insane action on the go with their iPhone or iPod Touch devices. Look for DARIUSBURST on the iTunes App Store today.
