EA’s remake of the 1993 of PC real-time tactical game Syndicate is coming out soon – reborn as a first person shooter. In the lead up to the impending launch we have a new trailer for the game.
The trailer shows off the beautiful future you’ll be performing, what they call, business in. You also get a feel for some of the story behind the game, but mostly it’ll get down to the action. Game mechanics like infiltrating enemies via their chip implant to control them are briefly shown in the trailer – along with an epic on-rails sections in a gun ship.
Syndicate takes place in 2069 and puts you in the boots of corporation Eurocorp’s enhanced agent Miles Kilo. In a world where yours and two other companies compete against each other you’ll be sent to, literally, eliminate the competition. You’ll get the sci-fi campaign along with a four player co-op mode which you can try out right now in the Syndicate demo.
