Lord of the Rings Online Update 6 Adds New Areas, Features

Turbine continues to find success with their free to play MMORPG title, Lord of the Rings Online, now in its fifth year of existence, and has now released Update Package 6 for fans. Update 6 offers up a whole new area to explore and find new missions and bad guys to do battle against. The new area is called Shores of the Great River, and it is freely available to anyone playing the game.

Other key additions in Update 6 include the new Instance Finder, which allows you to quickly search for people that are looking for others to instance some of the heavier creatures. It also has the new Soldier on Landscape feature, where you can now easily summon a comrade to the field of battle to assist with troublesome groups.
