Deadlight gameplay trailer lives

Spanish studio Tequila Works have unveiled the first gameplay video for their upcoming Xbox Live Arcade Game – Deadlight – and it’s looking fantastic. This will be the first game from the developer and is being published by Microsoft Game Studios.

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic 1986 West Coast America where a mysterious disease has transformed the population into killer automations. You are placed in the boots of survivor Randall Wayne just trying to keep going in the face of impossible odds. The game is a 2.5D puzzle platformer – in the vein of Shadow Complex – where you’ll be traversing different environments and fighting off the less than friendly humans you come across during your travels.

Deadlight is due out on the XBLA sometime this summer – as always we’ll keep you posted as more information comes in. To whet your appetite for now though you can check out the trailer just below.
