Wage (Total) War on the iPad now!
SEGA and Creative Assembly, the studio behind the long running Total War series, have today released their newest entry on the iPad and iPhone. Titled Total War Battles: Shogun, the new game looks to take a different direction from it’s bigger brother PC version while staying true to what fans expect from the series.
Stepping away from the route of a PC port the game has been made specifically for the touchscreen interface, offering over 15 hours of challenges to overcome. You take up the role of a young samurai out to avenge your fathers death while you make your way across Japan conquering the nation as you go. You’ll create units to take on the 27 core missions and 18 side quests from Warrior Monks, Samurai and Ninjas – experience points you earn through the game can be spent on upgrading buildings and other units.
A simultaneous multiplayer mode is also included allowing players to take on each other on the same device – giving you a whole new challenge having to battle friends and their strategies.
Total War Battles: Shogun is available right now from the App Store for iPhone and iPad for £4.99/$6.99/€5.49 and will also be coming to Android devices in the future.
