Can’t Get Enough Shin Megami Tensei? UK Gets Two New Titles
One of Atlus’ claims to fame is the cult hit Shin Megami Tensei series, featuring the use of Personas. Much like Final Fantasy‘s summoning mechanic, these vessels of spiritual energy and magic are one of the core components in the anime-styled dungeon crawler. Now, thanks to publisher Ghostlight, two more titles in the oft Japan-only series are getting a European release.
Devil Survivor Overclocked, originally released as Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor in 2009 on the DS, is the 3DS remake in which players will attempt to save Tokyo from a demonic invasion. A new chapter, full voice acting, and remastered visuals are just some of the perks gamers will be getting in this release.
Ghostlight will also be bringing in the DS sequel Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2, which was originally released in Japan last summer.
If you’re excited for these games, rejoice. Unfortunately, neither Atlus nor Ghostlight have mentioned a release date for either title. Let’s hope it’s sometime soon.
