U.S. Gaming Charts: April 15th – April 21st
It’s been another quiet few weeks with the releases, but at least gamers are looking for new blood to shed. CD Projekt Red’s Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition made its way to the Xbox 360. It won big, debuting at the #1 spot the week of its release.
Modern Warfare 3, Just Dance 3, and Kinect Star Wars are still battling for spots within the Top 10, and Ezio continues to prove that he’s still got more than just knives up his sleeves. Shepard and the crew of the Normandy are winning over gamers again as they went from #9 to the #5 spot. Not too shabby for a game that has been fraught with controversial endings.
Spyro may have won a few hearts over, as the little dragon snatched the #15 spot within the Top 20. Nowhere to be seen after a long reign of epic shouting, the Dragonborn has finally taken the last arrow to the knee and exited the charts. Kid Icarus: Uprising, Dead Island, and Mario Party 9 have all jumped in to fill the void within the Top 20 spots.
