U.S. Gaming Charts: April 29th – May 5th
Do you like shooting things, or do you just like new things? The trend of new releases taking the top spot continues as the past winner Prototype 2 stomped off in anger, allowing Sniper Elite V2 and TERA to take top honors in the sales charts. Heller may not be too happy, but 505 Games and En Masse sure are.
Just behind Prototype 2 was Just Dance 3, followed by Shepard and the crew of the Normandy at the #7 spot. They’re still saving the galaxy from Reapers, or everyone really digs the N7 Weekends. Either way, we’re cool with it. Keep on keeping on, Alliance.
Modern Warfare 3 rounds out the Top 10 as Geralt and the Witchers take #11. Kinect Adventures, Kinect Star Wars, and Batman Arkham City fill out the Top 20 spots. Skylanders moved up from the Top 30 into #17, but Mario Party 9 took a tumble from grace to land at the #20 spot.
