Warren Spector paints a picture of the creation of Epic Mickey 2

Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is the sequel to the previous Wii exclusive – just named Epic Mickey – that came out back in 2010. The game faced some mixed feelings both from critics and fans – with the sequel however it looks like the team are improving upon the original ideas for a bigger and better Disney adventure. A behind the scenes video has been released today and has the mind behind the game, Warren Spector, giving his thoughts on the direction Mickey is now heading.

Warren and some other members of the team go about discussing how the jump over to the PS3 and Xbox 360 is allowing them to create more, expanding upon the already vibrant worlds that were introduced in the original game. Some more insight is shared on Oswald and his abilities that will be at your disposal, along with the drop-in co-op mode that features in the game. Having the team over at the Junction Point studio make an authentic Disney experience is mentioned as the main objective to achieve in creating the game.

Enough of me talking about the ideas behind Epic Mickey 2, check out the video for yourself just below. Hopefully we’ll see and hear more over the coming months and at E3 – as always we’ll bring that news to you right here.

All About Aarron Barker ...

Born in the seaside town of Brighton, England, Aarron immediately developed an aversion to the outside world and stayed in to play his Megadrive. Now he takes to twitter to voice words on having a beard and liking bacon. Follow him to see which game will be immortalised in a tattoo next.
