Nintendo Virtual Console Update: Metal Slug Balancers on the eShop

Another week is beginning once more and Nintendo will, as always, be bringing a new set of titles to its eShop platforms. This week we’re treated to a small offering of just two titles, one for the 3DS and the other for the Wii. Keep reading to find out what you’ll be in for with the update this coming Thursday.

First up the 3DS, which this week will receive the game Art of Balance TOUCH! from Shin’en Multimedia. You’ll have to use the stylus in this game to stack up items and keep them balanced throughout the different challenges. This physics based puzzler will give you 100 puzzles from the WiiWare version making use of the 3DS’s capabilities where you’ll need to learn to utilise its “perfect touch controls”. You can pick up the game this Thursday 24th May from the eShop on 3DS for £6.30/€7 in the UK.

Next up for this weeks update is Metal Slug 3 on the Wii from D4 Enterprise. Following the previous games in the series, Metal Slug 1, 2 and X, Marco and Tarma return to blast their way through an adventure one gun at a time. This return of the original Neo Geo side-scroller features all the colourful characters you remember and iconic weapons. Metal Slug 3 will make it’s return to the Virtual Console this Thursday 24th May also for 900 Wii Points.
