More Worlds Announced for Kingdom Hearts 3D
One of the nice treats that comes out of a Kingdom Hearts game is finding out what sort of Disney lore will make it into the game. Sure, they have mixed in some of the more famous scenes and lands over the years, but they are not without mixing in some of the offshoot movies and cartoons, like Tron or Pirates of the Carribean to name a few.
Today, two new places have been announced for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance], covering both a classic and a recent newcomer. First off is the Country of the Muskateers, which will have the classic Disney Muskateer lineup of characters as well as a world themed on the cartoon. Also, we get to visit a festival in La Cité Des Cloches, which just happens to be where Quasimodo and Esmerelda are from.
You can see an assortment of screens and artwork representing characters and locations from the game below. Now, I just wonder if it was to late in the design phase to work John Carter of Mars into this Kingdom Hearts game. I mean, Disney needs to find a way to make some money off of that $200 million dollar train wreck.
Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] is set to arrive in July 2012 from Square Enix exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS.

Looking, looking, looking…nope, no Newsies.
Screw it, I’m out.
