Nascar “Drive for the Cover” Campaign to Start Thursday

Eutechnyx and Activision are prepping a new contest for fans to vote on which driver should grace the cover of the upcoming racing title, “Nascar the Game Inside Line”. This new contest, which will kick off on Thursday, May 24th, 2012 at 1PM EDT with a live press conference, will explain how the fans can jump in and select which one of the major circuit drivers will get to be on the cover of the game later this year.

Fans can watch the conference live, streamed from the Charlotte Motor Speedway at the official Nascar website, and a new trailer should be available for consumption shortly thereafter. Now I have no inside knowledge, but I wonder what the inside line is on Danica Patrick winning this contest on her popularity alone?

Nascar The Game Inside Line is set for a fall 2012 release for Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 from Eutechnyx and Activision.
