Demon’s Souls Servers Get Reprieve, Staying Up Indefinitely

Late last month, Atlus warned players of Demon’s Souls on PS3 that the servers would be taken down on May 31st, 2012, ending the multiplayer component of this highly regarded title. Server support had already been extended at least twice on this title, but it seemed like the end of the road had come for Demon’s Souls.

But, Atlus decided to give Demon’s Souls a last minute pardon and we now can confirm that the servers will stay on after May 31st, with an indefinite timeframe for them to be turned off. So go forth into that dungeon of pain known as Demon’s Souls, knowing that for the forseeable future, others can guide you on your journey.
