CD Projekt Announces Cyberpunk RPG

When you are having a bad day, it is always great to get good news, and finding out that the secret RPG title that CD Projekt has been working on was that great news. If you missed the live press conference that CD Projekt held today via Facebook, you missed out on the announcement that they are developing Cyberpunk for the PC. Yes, Cyberpunk, based on the Mike Pondsmith created pen and paper RPG title from the 1990′s.

This announcement immediately brought me back to the many nighly sessions of me running a Cyberpunk game with two friends, and some incredible battles due to the widly fleshed out combat system and visual flair that the Cyberpunk rule books held inside. CD Projekt also seems to have had some of these same feelings, and it appears that those nighly sessions will become a reality sometime in the future.

Yes, they also announced 1.7 million copies of The Witcher 2 had been sold for both PC and Xbox 360 and that a Mac version is coming soon, but for me, all I could think about was the world of Cyberpunk coming to my PC.
