E3 2012: Judge, Jury and Executions – Gears of War: Judgement trailer

E3 2012: Judge, Jury and Executions – Gears of War: Judgement trailer

Last week Game Informer teased a new Gears game that was later revealed as Gears of War: Judgement – Microsoft have now shown this off for the very first time. A reveal trailer has come straight out of E3, which you can see below, along with some extra details of the game and a release window.

GOW: Judgement is being developed as a collaboration between Epic Games and their partner studio People Can Fly – the group behind last years Bulletstorm game. Set years before the first game in the Gears trilogy and just after the events of Emergence Day when the Locust erupted from the core of Sera and waged war on Humanity. You’ll take control of Kilo Squad led by Damon Baird and Augustus “Cole Train” Cole who would eventually become part of Delta focusing on the team defending the city of Halvo Bay from the oncoming Locust army.

New multiplayer modes will also be coming along with Judgement – one of which was revealed yesterday and is known as OverRun, more modes will be announced at a later date. For now OverRun will focus on class based competitive multiplayer once again pitting the Locust against the COG once again. This promises to added a more addictive experience and a deep progression system.

Check out the first look at Gears of War: Judgement just below. It is currently slated for release in the first half of 2013 on Xbox 360.
