U.S. Gaming Charts: June 3rd – June 9th
The Game of Supposed Thrones continue between the lord of all evil, military shooters, and a down and out bodyguard. While Diablo III, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, and Max Payne 3 continue to maintain a delicate balance within the Top 3, everyone else keeps playing a dramatic game of musical chairs.
Bottom dwellers the past weeks finally made a bold move and took over the Top 10. Zumba Fitness 2 made the boldest move, moving from #11 to #4 in just a week. Modern Warfare 3 moved back from #14 to #6, and NBA 2K12 moved from the #17 to #10.
In a surprising move from the bottom of the charts, John Marston rode in to save the day, moving up from the #44 spot on the PS3 to the #17 spot. Who said that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? Commander Shepard moved up as well, moving from the #16 spot to #11. Sadly, Capcom’s step into the world of western-styled RPGs took yet another tumble as Dragon’s Dogma fell from the #8 spot to #18.
