NBA 2K13 To Introduce the “Next Dynasty” Of Star Players

As a young teen growing up in the 1980s, I remember that at the time, Bird, Jordan and Magic were the hot players in the NBA. Sure, there were a ton of other top notch players, but those three were like the holy trinity of the basketball world at that time. But then there was a void. Those three players were featured prominently in last year’s NBA 2K12 box art and promotional materials, leaving the question of how you top that advertising campaign in a year?

Well, you look towards the future with the next crop of stars that will carry the league, which would be Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin and Derrick Rose, the “Next Dynasty” of the NBA. These three players have been complete game changers not just for their respective franchises, but for the league as a whole. Each have become household names, appearing in numerous commercials and other mainstream publications.
