The Classic Divine Divinity is Now Available on Steam
While I have played may RPG titles in my time as a PC gamer, one of the games that I missed was Divine Divinity. It was a game that created a living world with dozens of NPCs that had their own histories and backstories, and four huge areas for players to explore. It had a feel somewhere in-between Baldur’s Gate and Diablo, as you would build up your lone hero across 36 possible skills and grabbed random loot from enemies that you defeated in battle.
Now, Divine Divinity is back for a new audience, 10 years after dropping on PC via Steam. This updated version of Divine Divinity supports higher resolutions for today’s high definition monitors and features the same addictive gameplay that drove fans to play countless hours of the game.
To celebrate, developer Larian Studios have put together a fun little trailer with fans talking about how great Divine Divinity was and their utter horror that it is coming back, leading to a fear of their Divine Divinity addictions renewing again.
