Theatrhythm brings the music to 3DS today in Europe

Whimsical rhythm based game, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, comes out today in Europe – bringing with it the amazing music from the series’ 25 year history. To mark this occasion Square Enix have released a launch trailer to entice fans to experience the fantastic music throughout the years in a new way.

Theatrhythm takes some of the amazing scores that have been produced during Final Fantasys quarter of a century as part of the games industry and puts them into a brand new game. Over 70 different scores will be included with the game, as well as additional tracks available right now. The game features some beautiful environments that you’ll take well known characters out to battle in, alongside original movie sequences from previous Final Fantasy titles. You’ll be tasked with effectively acting as the conductor of these sequences to defeat the enemies that lie ahead and relive moments from the saga’s history.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is out today in Europe, the game also launched this passed Tuesday in North America, exclusively for the 3DS. Check out the launch trailer just below, and if you want to give the game a trial then download the demo from the 3DS eShop right now.
