The Double Dragon Brothers Return to Consoles in September

The Double Dragon Brothers Return to Consoles in September

If you have felt a lack of sidescrolling beat-em-ups, developer WayForward is ready to fill that niche in September with Double Dragon Neon. This new installment in the Double Dragon franchise will allow you to continue the punching, jumping and kicking exploits of Billy and Jimmy as they go on their quest save their girlfriend Marion from the clutches of Skullmageddeon.

Double Dragon Neon will allow you to play co-op with a friend through he entire game, and adds new features like cassette tapes you can pick up to add power ups to your move set.

Now, the question that has me perplexed about Double Dragon in general is that these two dudes share the same girlfriend? How the hell does that work? Do they have a schedule to share Marion or is there something far more kinky going on here that my former 12 year old mind was unable to comprehend?

See if this mystery and more are solved on September 11th, 2012 on PSN or Sepbember 12th, 2012 on XBLA for $9.99 or 800 MS Points depending on platform.
