Cold Stream DLC for L4D2 Delayed. Surprise!
[UPDATE]:
The official Left 4 Dead blog says that the DLC for Xbox players has been delayed until next week.
[Original story]:
Set for release today, Left 4 Dead 2‘s Cold Stream DLC was going to bring us all of the classic L4D maps (minus No Mercy) into L4D2‘s improved AI, weaponry, and shiny recycling bins. However, in a not-so-surprising announcement, Valve has said that the DLC has been delayed.
In response to a fan, the Left 4 Dead twitter account read, “We are working with [Microsoft] on a release schedule. We don’t have an ETA yet but we hope to have it out soon. It will be 560pts.”
So we know the DLC’s cost, but no idea when it will officially be out. After facing a year-long testing and bug squashing phase, you’d think Valve would have at least gotten their ducks in a row for the release. Apparently Microsoft had other plans too.
