Ubisoft is Set to Blow Up Gamescom with Line-Up, Press Conference

Ubisoft is ready to show some more spectacular announcements and crazy drug-induced trailers. On August 15th in the Konrad-Adenauer-Saal, Congress-Centrum North Ubisoft will be holding their press conference at 3:00pm. Can that venue name get any longer?

During the conference, executives of the studio are expected to reveal new free-to-play titles that take place in some of Ubisoft’s best selling franchises and what the company plans to do about online games.

For those of you lucky enough to attend in person and want some personal time with demos, set aside August 16th. Ubisoft’s booth will be packed with a huge selection of triple-A titles:

  • Assassin’s Creed III
  • Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation
  • Far Cry 3
  • Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online
  • Shootmania: Storm

And what do you know, Ubisoft will have titles available to play on Nintendo’s brand spanking-new Wii U:

  • Rabbids Land
  • Rayman Legend
  • Sports Connection
  • Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2013
  • ZombiU

But that’s not all. Ubisoft will also be playing extended demos of the upcoming Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Just Dance 4, and The Settlers Online.

As if attendees won’t be hitting the Mountain Dew and their caffeine pills, those going to the Cologne Pop Festival might be able to get onto Ubisoft’s Rocksmith bus, where players can play the game.

Gamescom happens this year from August 15th to August 19th in Cologne, Germany.
