Crysis 3 on the Wii U? It’s a Possibility
The Wii U is still a mystery to a lot of us, but one thing’s for sure: they’ve got some nice third-party support going on these days. One of them is Crytek, and producer Mike Read said in an interview with CVG that Nintendo and Crytek’s recent partnership may result in seeing Prophet shooting his way onto the next-gen console.
Read stopped short of confirming that this was the reason for the partnership, and he also didn’t say whether or not both companies were working together on a joint title. The possibility wasn’t ruled out, though.
“I wouldn’t rule [Crysis 3 on the Wii U] out, but there has really been no official releases associated with the Wii U yet and given that we’re releasing Crysis in an eight month time period in February of 2013, we can’t play off of what their schedules are,” said Read. “I wouldn’t rule it out, but you know, it’s a possibility.”
The suspense is killing us, but Nintendo would be very happy indeed if a hardcore game like Crysis 3 were to grace their next-gen console. Would you buy Crysis 3 on the Wii U if it happened?
