Hong Kong Action Gunplay To Be Found in Sleeping Dogs
One of my favorite movies of all time has to be Hard Boiled. It features a great mix of acting, action and crazy, over the top gunplay. Sleeping Dogs, being set in Hong Kong, looks to these movies by directors like John Woo for inspiration, taking the ballet of bullets and incorporating them into the game.
If you doubt the insanity of the guns in Sleeping Dogs, just take a look at the new video below, which has Wei wielding guns as he jumps, rolls and uses slow motion to get the job done. We even get to see our hero as he hangs out the window of a fast moving vehicle as he shoots at enemies trailing from behind.
