Electronic Arts To Bring Top Tier Sports Franchises to Wii U

Electronic Arts To Bring Top Tier Sports Franchises to Wii U

Electronic Arts has announced that it will be releasing two of its top tier sports franchises for the Wii U when the console launches this fall. Both Madden 13 and FIFA 13 will come to the Wii U, using the controller screen for several functions.

FIFA 13 will allow players to play coop in a 4+1 mode where four players will play with gamepad controllers while one will use the touch screen controller as a manager of the team. You can also use the touch screen in single player mode, where you will shake the controller to go into the touch shooting mode, akin to the shooting mode on the Vita version of FIFA 12.

With Madden 13, you can use the touch screen to manage your team along with other features exclusive to the touch screen on the Wii U. Madden 13 will also have the career mode and the CBS commentary team of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, which is new to the game this year.

Look for both Madden 13 and FIFA 13 on Wii U at the time of launch this fall when the console is released worldwide.
