Quakecon Brings New Doom 3 BFG Trailer, Steam Sales

With Quakecon in full swing in the great state of Texas, we have a bunch of new stuff coming out of the convention. First off would be the showing of the new trailer highlighting the lost mission from Doom 3 BFG Edition. The Lost Missions will add eight new levels to an already staggeringly large package that includes Doom, Doom II, Doom 3 and Doom 3 Resurrection of Evil expansion pack along with the Lost Mission levels.

And not to be outdone, Quakecon also brings us the annual Bethesda/id Software Steam sale and mobile game sale for most of their titles. Yesterday kicked things off with Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls franchise and today has Rage up for 50% off. Other sale days include all the Quake and Doom titles and another dedicated to the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Fallout. While those days offer deep discounts, the entire Bethesda/id Software franchises are 25% off every day through Sunday. Mobile games on the iTunes marketplace are all marked down to $0.99, including RAGE HD and Doom Resurrection.
