UK Gaming Charts (w/e August 18th)
A most interesting play of musical chairs this past week as the charts are in. Sleeping Dogs takes the reigning crown in the sales charts for the UK this week, followed up by New Super Mario Bros. 2. The Top 5 otherwise scooted down a few spots to make way for the fresh titles, remaining unchanged. Bringing up the rear for the Top 10 are LEGO Harry Potter, Dead Island GotY Edition, and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
The Top 20 featured some interesting changes, as former Top 10 dwellers slid down a few spots. Ezio’s bid for dominance continues to wane as October draws closer, with Revelations falling from the #8 to the #17 spot. Super Mario 3D Land fell from #14 to #18, and Battlefield 3 slid from #7 to #13. Ouch.
Bringing up the rear for the Top 20 are Sonic Generations, GTA: Liberty City, and Super Mario 3D Land. Brackets denote the past week’s position.
